First off, I am not a filthy rich celebrity nor a daughter of a business mogul whatsoever. I am an unemployed 20-year old registered nurse who happens to occasionally have a little money from some sources (parents and relatives), not the kind of sources that you may be thinking of. And this little money is just enough for me to buy books and clothing. Unfortunately for me, I have this yearning to visit every single country there is in this world— well maybe not all, but certainly those that I fancy. Well, I may be at a delusional state right now since I am hoping to visit these cities next year. I just do hope I get to do that.
So I shall I start? Listed are the cities I would like to visit, in no particular order:
1. Paris, France - this one’s pretty obvious; If you have scrolled down a bit in my blog, I have been into France and the French language lately because of Perkins’ novel. I do know that the standard of living in Europe is quite high but hey I’m being positive that I’ll earn tons of money in the near future— yes, I’m HOPING. I want to visit all the galleries, museums and parks that I could visit. Add the movie houses as well, there I would watch movies in raw French with no subtitles, which means I have to work hard on mastering the language. Je veux y aller en France maintenant!

2. Seoul, South Korea - CHERRY BLOSSOMS! Actually, if I happen to visit during the winter season I wouldn’t mind not seeing cherry blossom trees as long as I get to shop ‘till I pass out. Seoul is not necessarily the place you would go if you want to score cheap finds, but definitely a place to hoard nice fashion pieces. Aside from my now-waned-obsession with Korean music, dramas and movies, I find Korea very beautiful and serene. I couldn’t promise you that I wouldn’t be stalking looking for my celebrity crushes inspirations but I am pretty sure that I wouldn’t get tired exploring every inch of this city eating, shopping, eating and shopping.

3. London, England - I was supposed to visit this city this year for a job interview but realized that it might not be worth it. I mean, I’m just going to have to visit London for an assessment I’m not even sure I could pass. Imagine all the money I would be squandering around just to get a visa, a ticket, a hotel, and money for my daily expenses. Again, I remind you that I’m an unemployed woman who does not want to borrow my parent’s money to go to London (out of shame). So instead of going this year, visiting next year might be better. This might be a shallow reason but my ears are eager to hear the genuine British accent of the locals. And have I mentioned English boys? No more explanation needed, I guess.

4. Tokyo, Japan - This country has a very rich culture, and I for once want to experience it. Wandering geishas/maikos in the street, my relentless love for sakura trees (cherry blossoms) and Japanese food will surely keep me happy while staying in this city. I’m pretty worried that I might need much more money to spend in Tokyo rather than in the European cities that I’ve mentioned earlier. And how am I suppose to own a kimono when it costs like $500 a set? Ka-ching!

5. New York, USA - Broadway, museums, fashion week (meaning that I should go during the FS season). I’m quite aware that there are a lot of things I could do around New York but I would definitely go to the theatre and watch a play/musical right away. I have been deprived of watching a play for some years now since there isn’t a single decent theatre around our city. Oh! And the fashion stores, how can I forgot? Despite the negative remarks of some about how dirty or dangerous New York is, I’m quite excited to take a glimpse of it. Should I take some 300-pound bodyguards with me when I go? Talking about high budget!
